Bandon Peak is led by Jeff Kangas, the former co-founder of H5, a technology services company that he and his partners led through the entire venture lifecycle to a successful nine-figure exit at an industry-leading multiple.
In the early stages, he and his partners built a diverse operations team from scratch, raised over $25 million in equity and debt financing from a broad range of investors, and evangelized and presented the company to investors, analysts, and C-level and senior executives across the United States and Europe.
Jeff served as Chief Revenue Officer, leading the company's sales, marketing, and go-to-market strategy and tactics that resulted in over 20% annual revenue growth, 50% gross margins, and 30% EBITDA margins. During that time they also transformed the company from a transactional to a recurring revenue model that provided greater operational predictability and boosted enterprise value.
In 2021, he and his partners led a competitive M&A process that yielded seven offers to buy the company and a successful sale at an industry-leading multiple.
Jeff has served on the Board of Directors of private venture-backed companies and non-profit organizations, gaining experience in all aspects of corporate governance, including evaluating capital funding options, compensation strategy, and negotiating strategic M&A alternatives. Prior to H5, Jeff was a manager with PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he had the opportunity to consult with a wide range of companies.
Jeff earned his B.S. in Business Administration from Bucknell University, and he partially completed his MBA at the Wharton School before taking a leave of absence to start his company.
